Beginning Self Regulation for ADHD
“How Does Your Engine Run”
6 week group for Elementary age children using the alert program
When you think of all the things that you hope for, for your child, what do you think of? You want them to learn, to experience the world around them, and to succeed in life, but what if certain basic requirements for children to achieve these things are not in place?
In this group kids will earn how to self monitor, regulate their own attention, their activities, through art and discussion. Each week, session will introduce a lesson that builds throughout the 6 weeks.
Parents will come away from the sessions with more information, knowledge and tools to help their children manage their own behavior whether at home or in the classroom.
